Yearwood Education and the Association of Education Advisers
The Directors of Yearwood Education are pleased to announce that they are opening the London Office of the Association of Education Advisers (AoEA) in November 2018. From training bases in Farringdon, Holborn, Paddington and Sandhurst, Yearwood and the AoEA will be offering nationally accredited training for advisers to create a coherent, consistent and high quality support system for schools, MATs, LAs and colleges.
The London Office forms part of the national organisation, which delivers training and development programmes which covers all aspects of school support including: advisory skills, performance improvement, governance, change management, organisational development and quality assurance.
Together we are seeking to create a national network and knowledge exchange for education advisers and develop a 'market place' where the education sector can source advisers and where advisers can offer their expertise.
We warmly invite you, or your referrals, to attend our inaugural AoEA, London based training events, on Wednesday 28th November 2018, at Boundary House, 91 Charterhouse Street, Clerkenwell, London EC1M 6HR.
The day begins with an awareness raising Breakfast Seminar, from 8-9.30 am, about the AoEA, its vision and ambition and is free.
The second, which runs from 9.30-4pm, is entitled ‘Improving Quality - Raising Standards?’ As Ofsted have announced that they are to focus more on the ‘quality of education’ a school provides, this programme is essential for the forward-thinking school leader or adviser.
Please feel free to attend or to invite to, one or both of the events.
The contributants, Les Walton, CBE, and Tom Grieveson, former HMI, are our AoEA colleagues and outstanding presenters with a national reputation for educational innovation and we commend their work to you.
